Love this bridge!
While we were camping last weekend, our campsite was right up the street from this adorable bridge. I couldn’t resist shooting a few pictures of Meg on the bridge. Thankfully, she was in the mood to have her pictures taken.

Texas Bluebonnets
On our way home from San Antonio last weekend, Meg and I stopped just outside of Marble Falls to take some pictures in the Bluebonnets. The small field was a sea of blue with a little red and yellow splashed through out. It was so beautiful. This is the first year we’ve taken pictures in the Bluebonnets.
Meg was so cooperative that it made the mini photo shoot very easy. She even grabbed Reagan and Rachel out of the car for a few pictures with them. I love this girl!

Smile!
I think I have found a great place for pictures :) Meg was my model today...and, for once, she was perfectly fine with posing for me.

We are loving the weather!
Last week we had some beautiful weather (if you subtract Wednesday night/Thursday, it was the perfect week). Wednesday afternoon, after I picked Megan up from school, I decided that it was too beautiful of a day to stay inside, so we grabbed the chalk and started coloring.
Life is too short for me to miss these moments. I know I should have probably been working, but I guess being able to spend an afternoon in the driveway with my beautiful, creative, energetic daughter is one of the many perks of working from home. (Believe me, there is also a downside).
I grabbed my camera and headed outside to capture the joys of being five. I drew hopscotch on the driveway and Meg hopped her way back and forth. I was amazed at how good she has gotten - she told me they play hopscotch at school.

Botanical Gardens Assignment
This falls, I enrolled in a Digital Photography class at UTA with two other girlfriends. I'm having a blast in the class. I'm even going to enroll in Digital Photography II in the spring.
For our field trip, we went to the Botanical Gardens. We had a list of things we were supposed to photograph.

Photoshoot with Gunner
We love having Gunner around the house. Yes, there are times when he's obnoxious, overpowering, overwhelming, over the top, but, we LOVE him. When he's not running around like a crazy puppy (yes, he's still only a puppy - 9 months), he's the sweetest thing in the world (well, almost as sweet as Dixie).
I was giving Meg a bath a few weeks ago and he was in the bathroom with us. I couldn't resist the opportunity to snap a few (OK, a lot) pictures of this sweet little guy.
At first, he was a willing subject. He may have been thinking that I was crazy since I was laying down in front of him with my camera, but I guess he didn't mind.

As the session went on, he was sick of posing for me and decided that he would curl up for a quick nap.
