Golf anyone?

Last Sunday, after the Cowboys game, Meg, Jarrad and I headed out to the front yard for some golf. The weather was so beautiful that we just couldn't stay inside any longer! Meg asked me to find her some golf lessons, so I'm going to see what I can come up with in Mansfield. I think we'll get thru the holidays, then find her a lesson.

This weekend is supposed to be gorgeous too! Can't wait for some outside activities.

A day at the park

When Megan and I got back from SA on Sunday, it was an absolutely beautiful day. So, we packed up Meg's golf clubs, soccer ball, a blanket and a few snacks to head to the park. Meg hit a few balls, kicked the soccer ball around a little, and had a blast playing on the playground.

I am definitely looking forward to more days like this so we can spend time outdoors. Meg loves being outside and playing at the park. I love to watch her interact with the other children. This girl has never met a stranger and is friends with everyone.

FORE!

Today, Meg had a golf lesson. For her birthday, Poppy bought her a set of golf clubs. It must have been meant to be, because when he went to get the clubs, they had a set of clubs in her size...but, the salesman told Poppy that they would have to order them because they only had a set of left handed clubs. I say it must have been meant to be because Meg is a lefty.
So, Poppy bought her the clubs and she was most excited.

Today, she had a lesson with Jerry (the golf pro at Poppy's club). She did really well. She listened and did as she was told. She was very excited about the lesson and talked about it most of the day.
