Go Rangers

Sunday night, Meg and I went to the Rangers game with our dear friends Aaron and Sandra.  (I really should have asked Meg to get a picture of the grown ups).  We had a great time with them.

Meg and I met Aaron and Sandra at swimming lessons.  There are two other kiddos in swimming lessons (Lauren and Ben).  Aaron, Lauren and Ben have been taking swimming lessons since they were itty bitty.  Meg was lucky enough to join this group 3 years ago.  They all became fast friends, as did the moms.

A Busy Saturday

Meg had a very busy Saturday.  She had a birthday party for Aaron and then spent the night with Lauren (both kids from swimming lessons).
Aaron’s party was at Alley Cats.  The kids had so much fun bowling, eating pizza and cake and then playing a few games.

After Aaron’s party, Megan went home with Lauren and Laura for a sleep over.  She was invited on Monday at swimming lessons, so it was all I heard about all week.  Meg and Lauren are adorable together.  They’re about 6 weeks apart in age and both are total hams.  I love these girls to death!
Thankfully, Laura takes as many pictures as I do, so I have plenty of pictures from the sleep over.

I picked Megan up on Sunday morning pretty early since it was Father’s Day.  Of course, when I got to Laura’s, Megan was still sleeping.  We woke her up, had some breakfast, then headed home to spend the day with daddy.

Swimming at Emler

Meg is taking swimming lessons again this summer at Emler.  No, she doesn’t still need swimming lessons, but she’s been swimming with the same group of kids for three years and we just can’t bear to break them apart.  Plus, the mommies really enjoy the lessons more than the kids do!
We always try the impossible, which is to get a picture of the foursome together, but are never successful.  I don’t know how parents of multiples do it.  Most of the time, the girls are cooperative, so we always end up with cute pictures of the girls.  But, Ben and Aaron aren’t always as excited when the cameras come out.

More Flags, More Fun

SIX FLAGS!!!

The day before Mother’s day, we met our wonderful friends for some fun at Six Flags.  The day was absolutely beautiful and the kids were so happy to see each other.  We arrived at the park around 4:30 and left around 8:00.  Meg and I are going to love having season passes this year :)

Spring Break part 2

***WARNING – COMPLETE PICTURE OVERLOAD***
Monday of Spring Break, Megan and I met our good friends Laura & Lauren at Sea World for the day.  When we woke up that morning, I was disappointed to see that it was overcast and a little chilly outside.  Of course, that didn’t stop us.
Since it was Spring Break, we planned to meet up with Lauren & Laura at Sea World as soon as it opened.  I completely misjudged traffic, so Megan and I arrived super early.
We saw all the shows, had some lunch, tried to pet the dolphins and played in the cargo nets.  It was a great day.

Quad Play Date

Last Saturday we had a play date with Meg’s friends from swimming.  It’s been a struggle for us to get a good picture of all four of these kiddos.  Here is the best  yet!

Hotter than hell

Saturday, Meg and I met our good friends Laura & Lauren at the Ft. Worth Zoo for a hot (but fabulous) afternoon. The zoo wasn't very crowded probably because it was 100 degrees, but we had a great time. We saw most of the animals. We rode the train twice and the girls rode the carousel.

Swimming lessons

We are in swimming lessons again this summer with the gang. Meg loves swimming and has really become an awesome swimmer this summer. She makes me so proud.

There are four kids (including Meg) in her class. They've developed quite a special bond. It's two boys (Aaron & Ben) and two girls (Lauren & Meg). They were all born in the summer of 2004, so they're very close in age. Meg is the youngest of the bunch, but they will all start kindergarten this fall.
