This year, we had a fun filled Fourth.
To kick it off, Meg and I went to a parade in Arlington with some of our new friends (Jessica & Haley). Meg and Haley had a blast at the parade. It was a little hot this year, but it's Texas - why did I expect something different ;) When we first got to our "spot", it was in the shade...but by about 10:00 we were no longer in the shade. It was still worth it. Meg really loves the parade.

After the parade, we came home to take naps. We didn't want to be "grumpy" for the firework show that night at Big League Dreams in Mansfield. This was the first year for Mansfield's firework display at Big League Dreams. It was awesome - 30 minutes of wonderful fireworks. It was like a finale the entire time through. We went with our new friends Michael, Jessica and Haley. The girls had a blast and so did the adults. We'll definitely be going back next year!

Megan is so absolutely adorable! I'm so glad to hear that you had such a great holiday weekend. Sure sounds like they know how to do up those fireworks in Texas!
Thanks Allison! I have to say Megan is just an adorably sweet little girl. I especially loved hearing her sing her song. Enjoy her - she really will grow up fast :)
Question for ya...on what setting did you take those fireworks pics??? They came out amazing!! I'm assuming no flash? I'm trying to learn how to take better pics.
