Why...

...would my child let her friends color on her face?!? Meg came home after playing with her friends one night looking like this. It shocked me that she willingly let her friends do this to her. Although, she is the youngest of all of her friends, so I'm sure it didn't take much convincing.

You've got to be kidding...

The other day I was surfing the web for a new camera strap for my SLR...while surfing, I came across this...The camera and hand not included? Well then, I'm definitely not interested!

The Story of Little Suzy...

As I was flipping through my Parent's Magazine last week, I came across this advertisement. I couldn't help by laugh as I glanced over it.

Oh how I love my child...

Megan was invited to a b-day party last Saturday and a city park that also has a small water area for the kids to play in. The park is great. I had completely forgotten about it and was glad for the reminder that it's there.

Well, as Meg was running around and playing with her friends, I noticed her doing the universal sign for "I have to pee." (If you're a mom, you know what I'm talking about). So, I asked her "Do you need to go to the bathroom?". Her swift reply was "Nope". And, just like that she had run off to return to playing. Not five minutes later, as I'm talking with a mother I've only just met, I look up to see my sweet, sweet daughter standing with her feet shoulder width apart and slightly bent (I'm sure you know where I'm going with this)...yes, she was peeing in the grass. What was I to do??? She was almost "finished' by the time I caught her. I did have my camera handy, but thought the other mother may think I'm a bit crazy if I took a picture of her. So, after she was finished, I asked her to "clean up". I was able to take a few pictures of that.

If I only had known then

...what I know now! I would definitely have gotten Meg her first pair of high heels.

"Heelarious - noun
extremely funny, completely soft, fully functional high heel crib shoes for babies 0-6 months."

Now, I can't - for the life of me - figure out why a 0-6 month old girl would need heels, but I figure it will give her plenty to talk to a therapist about.
