Meg can’t sit still. Seriously, this girl only has two gears, ON or OFF. She’ll ask me to turn on a movie after school or right before bed so she can rest. I’ll get the movie turned on and come back into the living room a few minutes later to see her rolling on her blue ball, doing cartwheels and handstands, or jumping up and down on the couches.
When I ask her why she isn’t “resting”, she’ll tell me that she is. Apparently her idea and my idea of resting are two very different things.
About ten minutes before it’s time to head to bed, I always try to make her sit still…it’s amazing how hard it is for her to accomplish such a simple task.
